I was not sure at 1st that I would enjoy the 2nd series as much as the 1st, but about 1/2 through the 1st book, I was just as hooked on the new characters as I was to the original Baxter family.

There's a reason this book has managed to retain so much of its original value. It's a story that simply grabs your heart and doesn't let go. By the end, you love Katy, want to know more about the family she lives with, and you long to know more about this mysterious bond they all share. And that's besides the very cool plot of the book, which I refuse to reveal. So very good!

I have the complete firstborn series plus the Baxter family except book 4 which is pre-ordered...I love Karen and am a member of the Baxter Family Club...she is so inspiring and it is such a blessing to read her books..
