Product Description
It-s not always easy being a female warrior with a nickname like Annwyl the Bloody. Men tend to either cower in fear-a lot-or else salute. It-s true that Annwyl has a knack for decapitating legions of her ruthless brother-s soldiers without pausing for breath. But just once it would be nice to be able to really talk to a man, the way she can talk to Fearghus the Destroyer. Too bad that Fearghus is a dragon, of the large, scaly, and deadly type. With him, Annwyl feels safe-a far cry from the feelings aroused by the hard-bodied, arrogant knight Fearghus has arranged to help train her for battle. With her days spent fighting a man who fills her with fierce, heady desire, and her nights spent in the company of a magical creature who could smite a village just by exhaling, Annwyl is sure life couldn-t get any stranger. She-s wrong- And just wait until you meet the rest of the family- This book has been previously published. Warning: This book is the ebook reproduction of the print book released September 2008 from Zebra. No changes have been made from that version. This book was previously released under a different title and author name by Triskelion publishing.

My Favorite! July 7, 2010 P. Fox (USA) I loved this book. It is entertaining the whole way through, great and very creative story line.
Hilariously hot and sweaty romance... June 23, 2010 A. McKinnon Oh boy was this fun- writing is light, characters weren't terribly complicated, romance was hilarious, the sex was HOT. I laughed out loud several times.
There are TWO stories here- the second is something of a prequel to the first. It isn't an issue to read it second.
I just loved the female lead in the first one- a vicious fighter with a nasty temper. She was just great to watch as she fumbled and fought her way into a dragons heart... and his bed. Her dragon lover was also a great character- sexy as hell, brooding and loyal.
The second story was more of a novella and the couple threw sparks off the page. The romance was no where near as smooth as the first story and slightly uncomfortable at times, but eventually it evens out and I became as fond of these two as I was of the first.
Some pretty strong hinting at who else we might see featured in future stories. If you are looking for a book to let you escape from the day to day and laugh and love- this is it.
Two for one steamy dragon romance June 10, 2010 Jennifer M. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Annwyl has been battling her brother for as long as she can remember. They both want the other dead and will stop at nothing to achieve their goal. Annwyl is about to be killed by her brother's men in a cave when a dragon comes to her rescue. Instead of eating her, he saves her and tends to her wounds. Fearghus, the dragon, is drawn to the woman warrior. He allows her to stay in his cave while she recovers, and she slowly takes a piece of his heart. Shape shifting into human form, Fearghus trains her without telling her who he is. Annwyl struggles with her feelings of love for the dragon and lust for the warrior, never realizing they are the same person.
I really liked this novel. The characters were well developed, and I loved that Annwyl loved the dragon enough that she was willing to give up having a physical relationship just to be with him. The love scenes are really steamy too. The only thing I did not like and that almost led to a four star review is the ending. It was just so stupid. I don't want to give anything away, but the characters just acted stupid for no reason. It was explained why they did what they did, but I don't think it really made sense. Thankfully, it was a small part of the book and did not bring it down overall. I also liked the second short novella that was essentially a prequal to Dragon Actually. I didn't like it as well as the first, but it was neat to learn more about the characters and see how their relationships came about. I wasn't sure how I would feel about reading a dragon romance but I did enjoy it. If you get tired of reading about vampires and weres, you should give G.A. Aiken's dragons a try.
Fell in love with a dragon June 3, 2010 G. Jean (Holiday, FL USA) Interesting first read from this author. Bloody, but romantic and silly at the same time. Loved every minute
Good start to a series May 30, 2010 Linda Tepper (New Rochelle, NY) This is first of a series and very quickly grabbed my interest. I would certainly read more of the books that go with this one.
