Amazon.com Review The book that started the phenomenon is now available in a deluxe collector's edition! Featuring a ribbon bookmark, cloth cover, ragged edges, new chapter opener designs, and a beautiful protective slipcase, this edition is perfect for fans and collectors alike.
Bella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the person Edward holds most dear.
Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

Twilight, book 1 January 7, 2009 Lrich in the sunset (South USA) After watching the movie, and absolutely loving it, I read the book and it's even better. The relationships between Bella and Edward and his siblings are much more detailed. I would have liked to have seen the movie include more of this.
unbelievably good story January 6, 2009 Elizabeth Salvucci I am more of a grandmother age, not a teenager, but I do enjoy a good story. This is not the quality of the detailed well written story you would find in the Harry Potter series, but it does keep you coming back and wanting to finish reading the story. It is a story of a lonely teenage girl who has no real closeness to either her father or mother. She has no adult figure helping her in her life. She meets a male vampire who "died" as a teenager and they fall in love. Yes, unbelievable, but yes I am still reading it and I will finish it. And I willprobably read the other three books as well!
Excellent January 6, 2009 Dominique Goosby (Atlanta, GA) I purchased this book for my niece and I was thrilled at how fast the order arrived. She thoroughly enjoyed the book. The price was great and the item came in great condition. She is about finished with the book so now it's time to work on book #2.
Couldn't put it down! January 6, 2009 Megan E. Nusser 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The best book I have ever read! I never make it through the first few chapters of a book without getting bored but this book was one that I couldn't put down until I have finished it. Next to this book...I feel I can't even right a review that is worthy enough to describe the extraordinary piece of work.
best book ever! January 6, 2009 A. Blakley (Idaho) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
this is the only way to experience the series is to have these books on audio cd. The reader does a great job fully expressing the character bella as the author would want.
