My only gripe is that it did not come with the required batteries.. if you purchase be sure you have or 3AAA batteries

I bought this light for my new Kindle 3 which is my first Kindle. Everything I read suggested it would work fine but the Kindle 3 is smaller than previous models with tapered sides which makes it hard to keep this light attached. It seems to fall to the side or snap off. I've resorted to placing in on the dresser standing up which works better than my other options though I'm disappointed this wasn't a better solution. In every other way the light seems to be well made and works fine, just not as I was hoping to use it.

The light is everything promised and discussed. Just the right brightness, smaller than some but larger than others, nice and grippy and well priced. Now for the "But..."
The neck is just a little too too rigid for our use. My wife is concerned that it will become kinked or broken if she carries it in her tote for her long commute. She believes she would be more comfortable with a folding light that can take some pressure if a large book gets dropped into her bag after the light is already rolling around in it.
