A great book for eveyone to read and understand how we all can help humanity get on track
If you want peace....this books not going to hurt!July 29, 2010 Jon Doe If anybody is searching for inner peace this book may be able to help you. It has a lot of great ideas (regardless if they're original or not-- Tolle is a spirtual teacher, not a philosopher). Psychologists talk a lot about coping mechanisms to deal with the stresses of everyday life. This book is an abundance of coping mechanisms rolled into one. I'd also recommend the Power of Now. Take what you want from these books and reject what you don't want. Even if you only get one helpful insight form the book that is better than none. If you're like me you'll get a lot more than one helpful insight form this book and just perhaps a lot more inner peace. Amen to that!!!

This book is for those looking for life-changing ideas and motivation. It cuts to the heart with concepts that are clearly explained with compelling examples you will easily identify with. It is for Depak Chopra readers who want real-life scenarios for clarification.

Great book that really got me thinking about my spirituality. With the peace of mind that you can achieve with meditation you can let go of a lot of mental and physical baggage. We as humans are one of the ways that the universe is aware of itself. We are the universe. And that is what I learned and continue to learn from reading this book. Thank you.

All that came out of this book was...cult! It's extremely esoteric and makes you think that the almighty "egoless" eckhart has the way to a better world. But please do not be fooled just because oprah sells him on her show to make her billions. How does he know what my life's purpose is? This book is for people who are vulnerable and unstable...and he recognizes that. He is taking advantage of people who can't see through the B.S and making a profit from it. It's funny when you see people defend him, because they sound EXACTLY like him. Using the same phrases and words as him which is another sign of CULT behavior. In a cult there is usually someone running it. He tells you how to think and what to believe (brainwashing) tells you that your mind is insufficient (brainwashing) then takes your money. But people will always defend him because they've given themselves up to him. Just be aware people!
